Your Message: Hi Rozier and Groff family. I can't believe it has been 2 years since we lost our precious angel Robin. I still find it so hard to look at the website I keep thinking that anyday now I will see or hear Robin. I was at City of Hope with Robin for awhile and she was so inspirational to me. I think of her daily it has taken me quite sometime to think of the words and thoughts I had and be able to mark them on this journal. I find it very difficult to lose a special friend to this horrible disease especially because I myself have been diagnosed with cancer. I am fighting hard and living by words and courage that Robin left for me. I have been in remission for 4 years and hope to stay that way, I wish so much that Robin could have also had that blessing however I know that our heavenly father had a special plan for Robin for she was definetely a special person. I know that if this is hard for me how much harder it must be for her family so please know that I don't only think of Robin I think of her lovely sisters and her wonderful parents and her supportive husband Jason and especially Hailey. Your Message: I got up this morning and I could not get our dear Robin out of my mind. I finally decided that maybe the reason is is because I am trying to set my goals for this upcoming year and what an inspiration she was to me. I did not know her as long as many of you but boy did she ever inspire me in the short period I knew her! The things she inspired in me were to try and be more Christ like, to try and be a friend to those who need a friend, to show courage when faced with the worst kind of pain, to chose to love life, and more important to just enjoy the moment. Once I wrote these things down, my New Year's resolutions were so easy to note. I hope as each of you decide on your New Year's resolutions that you will think of Robin and how she inspired you. What a fantastic way to keep her spirit alive in each of us - to set goals that were inspired by her! Thank you Robin for your life and for touching mine. I look forward to the day that we will again have the chance to sit down and just talk about life - our joys, our sorrows, our heartaches, just like the old days... Take care my dear friend.
